Cold Shower Wines Mission Impaissable 2019 is a dry farmed, old vine Pais aged in flexitank to ensure maximum freshness and no oak influence. The Pais is at least 120 years old, most likely 150+, and comes from one of the very few remaining old vine Pais vineyards in Colchagua. Pais is known as Mission in the US, hence the name. This wine is from one of the very few remaining old vine Pais vineyards in Colchagua, where producers aren't allowed to declare it, so it's referred to as Cold Shower, which sounds uncannily like Colchagua. It's way more wine than a Maule Pais, with more concentration, a bit more booze, and much better colour. Only 2,500 bottles were produced. This wine has amazing aromatics, great texture, and an amazing tart acidity that keeps you coming back for more. It's a full-bodied red wine with a rich, fruity flavour profile.
